Uggghhh I loathe midwinter, nearly as much as I loathe summer. I mean, I prefer the cooler weather and I don't even mind the rain, but the lack of light makes me into the angriest sad hobbit that was ever sad and angry. I might end up getting myself a sun lamp for Christmas, actually

There are a lot of light bulbs out there that claim to be sun light; I picked up mine at the grocery store. I personally have to have the bluer bulbs because the yellow light hurts my eyes. I've noticed a huge difference since switching the bedroom light. Maybe try that out first? I'm pretty sure sun lamps a different that just the bulbs but they are also more expensive.

Stick a ton of these to your ceiling over your bed; if nothing else, they make for a nice end of the day-- you can just lie there and stare at your own personal sky. Honest to gods, it helps; blank ceilings are boring.

Also, I *like* that vest! PRETTY.
