Work yesterday involved:

- massive, massive clean up of ... well.

- a big toe's nail flipping back and forth by about a centimeter of live tissue. there was black fungus underneath. I had to go get the nurse to clip it off.

- walking into someone's room and instantly going HOI! WHAT'S WITH THIS BLOOD?? and an elderly gentleman wailing he had no

ugh, I just realized, if I get a new netbook it will probably come with Windows 7 starter and I'll be stuck convincing it to behave / reformating to Linux like God intended netbooks to run. I don't know, every single time I've seen a copy of Windows 7 it came with bonus lag and nagging demands for confirmation codes.

Most stores are offering downgrades to XP on netbooks as a standard; I had to specifically ask to keep 7 on mine. It works REALLY NICELY on netbooks if you just switch out the 1gb ram card for a 2gb ram card. Super easy, works like a dream. But I'm quite fond of 7 overall, because I've been running Vista since it was released and like most of the world think Vista should die in a fire.
