I get the feeling I should probably check those books out, if only because cat-related lulz are pretty much the best kind. (Or possibly because, being the cruel human being I am, enjoy laughing at the suffering of people who voluntarily or at least with minimal resistance own Siamese. This could be because I own Persians, and an exciting day for them is one where they actually wake up.)

Persians aren't actually cats, you know, they're like purring cushions with squishy noses and disapproving looks.

This is probably true. My boy is certainly about as smart as one.

(The calico, on the other hand, is an evil genius, operating from the front hall boot tray.)
