I think this story has a great progression to it, and it kept me interested all the way to the end. I liked your characterization of Layton, too!

This was a very nice reading! It is indeed interesting to see Layton falling for Clive, for once :D

Oh, I noticed that you referred to Clive as Clark sometimes. Is it for a localisation matter or..?

Actually, that was probably an accident on my part. I've been known to switch names sometimes, completely without reason. (I was writing an essay/dialogue for my Japanese class and began calling one of the characters Yui, even though her actual name should have been Miu.) I honestly don't know why, and I'm sooo sorry if that was really confusing. DX I'm a very bad self editor.

Also, I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I adore your icon. ♥
