There's always teething troubles in an exchange, especially since this was the first fest for many of you fandom newbies! We'd love to hear your comments and suggestions for next year, anything from deadline changes to sign-up form changes to anything else you'd like to go on about. We did this last year, and the reason I removed it this year is because it actually made the matching process harder. There were several people who could only write fic but requested art, as I remember. We do try to match the artists together and the writers together whenever possible, but in a mixed exchange this is sometimes difficult. I'll think about it for next year, though!

My suggestion is to consider announcing the number of pinch-hitters "working" the fest. I know that you guys said that you needed more in general, but if I had known there were only four(?) pinch-hitters in total, I would have tried harder to lend a hand.

I'll remember that! I wasn't actually expecting to need that many pinch-hitters, so it took me by surprise. Next year I'll let you know.
