Minimalism Header How To

Account Status: All
Actions: Header/Banner
Theme: Minimalism

1. Make sure your image is uploaded to a internet based image storage site like PhotoBucket or ImageShack.

2. Go to Custom Journal Style and then Custom CSS LINK

3. The two questions asked above the coding box should be Yes if you are using the layout as LJ has it and just adding a header.

4. Put the below code into the code box.

#page .layout .header
{
background: url(IMAGE URL HERE) top left no-repeat;
padding-top: 251px;
}

5. Where it says IMAGE URL HERE put the DIRECT URL LINK to your image. Most image storage places give you this link.

6. The padding from the top can also be change and should be the same as your images height. You can add a extra px or 2 to give your image some padding. (ie if image is 250px you can put 252px).
