Anyone here watching How I Met Your Mother? I didn't follow it religiously, but I did watch now and then and I enjoyed it, enough to leave me curious and anticipating the day they reveal the mother. And lol, now that that day has finally come, I found it to be rather an anti-climax and I'm not at all gung-ho to watch the season finale. And I can't ( Read more... )

So they brought in someone totally new for the mother? Good grief. I'm glad I only gave that show a passing watch now and then.

Yes, they set up an audition for that role and that particular actress got it. They did mention something about "the girl with the yellow umbrella" being her and I'm guessing that character had made cameos now and then throughout the show.

I'm curious about her, maybe I'll watch it some time soon but at the moment I'm not feeling too fond of her lol.

Brenda is pregnant, and by the look of it, she's already full-term. So I guess that means the show was filmed at least a whole 9 months before it was aired? And the final three have to wait *that* long for the result? Oh wow. And there I was thinking that it was just a couple of months after.

I was shocked about that, too! My goodness, what a looooong time to wait to know who won.

Ha! I knew it was The Bold and the Beautiful! That used to be my favourite soap opera, maybe I should take it up again, or at least watch the eps with Malcom in it!

I hope we'll get to see a pic of Brenda's baby, and the father as well! The baby's father I mean, not Brenda's father :D

They apparently filmed this season of Survivor last May/June - about a year ago.

I guess the other seasons were shown almost a year later as well? Wow, now that's a very long, torturous wait for the result, esp for the final three. And the rest must have been bound by contracts to not talk about the show to other people and that must have been hard too!
