Watched a couple of clips from 'Days of Our Lives' ( thank you ckll! ) and I'm reminded why I'm not really into daytime soaps. Nothing to do with Jensen, he was adorable, but it's the type of show itself, and I'm not talking about DOOL specifically but soap operas in general

One of the clips that I saw, it has Eric with the person who played his father. And his Dad just collapsed, and Jensen was holding on to the Dad's thigh OMG!!

Awww! I wish mom hadn't retaped over DOOL when she would Jensen was on, cuz she'd tape them, watch them when she got home from work, then rewind and start over. Actually, there might be one tape around here that still had Jensen from then in it, haha.

It's so weird to see people be all "DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY DOOL WITH JENSEN IN IT?!" now... because I remember him from then. It's so crazy to admit that I've liked Jensen for 11 years, which is like half my life. lol

I didn't know him at all until SPN! I watched one or two episodes of DA, didn't really watch it and never noticed him before :/

Wouldn't it be awesome if it were DOOL that Sam and Madison were watching?

Everything he was in since DOOL (besides SPN) I never watched because either I didn't like it before he got a part in the show (DARK ANGEL, my mom watched it and was really mad when it didn't come back lol) or we didn't get the channel (Smallville and Dawson's Creek)....

It would have been awesome, haha. Jensen's character was mentioned sometime during this summer, because the chick who plays his character's mom goes on vacation every year or something and they make up an excuse for her to leave, and this time... it was because Eric was in a car accident and she was out there helping him recover. And I busted out laughing when mom told me because of how the season finale of season 1 with the car accident, lol.

It's nutty wierd how things are connected. That accident you mentioned, and how Eric Brady's going to work for one Eric Kripke, Dean F and Dean W and JDM, Sami and Sammy, the Js from Texas whose parents seem to be overly fond of the letters J and M ...

I also used to watch the 'B&B' back in the 80's but i quit when i started watching the best soap opera of all: "Young and the restless", lol

Erc Brady was the hottest babe that has ever been in soap operas, trust me

I hated it that Thorne had to compete with Ridge for Caroline's affections, otherwise I don't really hate him. But Brooke yeah, I disliked her immensely!!

I much prefer the original Thorne, too!!!

Those two caps of Eric and Dean sleeping are a couple of my favorites. I guess I have a thing for seeing him at rest and peaceful-looking. And I seriously cracked up when I saw the crazy position he had gotten himself into in that recliner. So cute, so Dean. Thanks for the smile tonight.

My favourite sleeping Dean is from 'Phantom Traveller' *points to icon* Nothing beats that slow pan of the camera along Dean's body. Almost pornigraphic, that one!

I think soap operas are called that because when they first came on the air in the fifties/sixties, the commercials aired during them---and their sponsors---consisted mainly of laundry soap advertisers. I may be wrong . . .

I've watched DOOL since I was five years old--seriously! But not religiously. I'll go for months without seeing it and then pick back up on it pretty easily when I feel like it. It does get very silly sometimes.

I enjoy soap operas on some levels, but compared to other TV shows on nowadays, they're so unrealistic. The people always look perfect, their homes look perfect, and they never have money troubles (unless it's worry about their multi-million dollar company).
