The technical way to get the dust out of the cracks in your keyboard is to go to someplace they sell computer products, like Staples, and buy a can of pressurized air. It comes with a little straw like WD40 and you blow the dust out of your keyboard, and any other nook or crany that might be dust-infested.
I'm sure there's an easier way that doesn't envole purchasing air (which sort of grates on my more miserly instincts), but my father works for a computer company where they can afford that sort of thing, and that's how he does it.
I saw an infomercial once that sold teensy little vaccuums with which you could suck out dust from keyboards and blinds and stuff. But I figure those are expensive.
But hey, if pressurized air works, I could just blow on my keyboard really hard, right?
You're welcome! The little vacuum idea reminds me of the movie Gattaca. Did you ever see it? I don't know if I'm spelling it right. It's a semi-depressing movie with a hopeful ending and an interesting commentary on the direction of science in society. Not wonderful, but if you're even in the mood for a semi-depressing commentary on the direction of science in society with a hopeful ending...
