So I went to see Leah (who is the cousin of my childhood neighbor, Suzanne) and her husband Pavi at the Osan Air Base, where Pavi's stationed.

Wait...you found q-tips that were 50 cents a piece? My heavily waxy Swedish ears would have a big problem with that.

I had wine on Friday, which was very exciting. I hadn't had wine in 11 months.

Yeah...well, you could get 20 q-tips for $8.50. I guess that's more like 42 cents a piece. But still. I have q-tips now, and can stop rolling up little pieces of tissue paper.
