So Jean came down for the weekend, and we went out for brunch at the Broken Yolk, which Brian and Amelia have raved about several times. It was cute. I liked it. But it wasn't as cool as Johnny D's or Mrs. Mack's, which STILL hasn't reopened

ah it sounds so lovely! i won tickets once when i was little but i don't remember much. i mainly want to go and eat hot dog and drink beer and scream a lot and maybe abuse some face paint. which i suppose i could do in the street, but it might have a different outcome.

ooooh. you need to try renee's cafe (holland st, closer to teele sq). so freekin good. get the corned beef hash eggs benedict. they're closed this week for vacation, but open up again next weekend.

Awesome! Only I hate corned beef hash. And poached eggs. And hollandaise sauce.

But I like English muffins.

I don't usually go out for breakfast, since I get free brunch food at Johnny D's, but it's sort of interesting, entering foreign breakfast territory.

I'm great! Busy. Which somehow makes things better.
