SO. TIRED. Autumn is really hitting us with a vengeance, but I finally have nearly everything battened down for winter. I got the garden harvested on Friday, and then we were hit with our first frost Friday night (a major, unforecasted, plant-killing frost, too! If I’d been one day later with the harvesting … I definitely feel like I dodged that

I feel your pain, wanting to make more posts about writing and life in general, but not really having anything to sell, or direct people to. Okay, let me re-say that. I'm not actually interested in making posts about writing myself, except occasionally. I feel like there is enough of that, and so many of my fellow writers say all the things I would need to say, and say them better than me, that I don't have to. But I'd like to write more about life in general--the experiences that shaped my writing, fears and frustrations that can get in the way of the creative process (or stimulate it, as the case may be

Yeah, I don't really feel like I have anything new to say about writing, but I'd like to do more in the way of just chronicling my own journey as a writer. The only thing I can really talk about authoritatively is my own experience, but if nothing else, it'll be interesting to come back to it years later and see where I was then, compared to wherever I will be 3 or 5 or 10 years from now.

And thank you very much for the beta offer! Right now I think I'm pretty well set in that area, but I really do appreciate the offer HUGELY, and I will absolutely hit you up if I need to!

Also, your mountain cabin sounds awesome. :) That's how I grew up. We still live kind of rural, but at least we have running water (and Internet!).
