How about a giant strawberry?

So, one of the reasons I'm feeling massively accomplished this week is that I finally got my welding project done for the sculpture class.

This is seriously so adorable, Layla... I love the little leaf-vine curlicue thing.

Awww, thank you! *squishes*

The little curl was the last thing I welded on -- it's kind of an afterthought, but it really brings the whole thing together!

That is awesome. It would look amazing in a garden.

Thank you! I think it'll be marvelous in the garden; I kinda wanted to do some landscaping next summer anyhow, and maybe this will kick-start me on that project!

Hey! BERRY nice!

I hadn't realized you'd have to paint it outside in below-freezing weather. What a pain. It came out awesome, though.

Your compliment is BERRY much appreciated! :)

Yeah. Painting it in the cold (and the wind!) was a real hassle ... and took much, much longer than if I'd just been able to leave it in one spot and paint it in place. But having it done, and being fairly happy with it, feels quite nice. (I guess you could say it's a re-LEAF. (*hides*)
