I really love the idea that Merlin would shove all his memories down and lock them away, but oh, my heart. Lovely hurt/comfort. Also, much love for your protective!Gwaine, especially because Merlin was just as protective of him.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS FIC SO MUCH. I saw this on my flist this morning and read the first half right away and had a really hard time pulling myself away from the computer to go to work. I honestly felt for long stretches like it was written just for me and made to hit not only my hurt/comfort kink but my specific love for stories about madness and memory loss. Also Arthur being fiercely protective of Merlin and the trust and understanding (plus a bit of jealousy) among Arthur and the knights and Gwen and so so so much!!! Thank you so much for this!!!
