So, even if this Sheppard fellow didn't do it? They're still going to find him guilty because of this closing argument and its amazingness.

Uhm. Aw man, I don't want to have to be the first to guess; you know TOS isn't my main flavor...

Oops, looks like I'm about to accidentally click the 'Post Comment' button right before I get to write down my guess and--

LOL! Don't worry; I'm horrible at these things, too. But some people are pretty good at them....

Thanks, and glad you enjoyed.

I remember reading The Murder of Rodger Ackroyd many many years ago, and being surprised by the culprit.

Your fic is always a little bit different--a little surprising--sort of like that story. ;-)

I wish I could guess, but nobody else has, and I'm horribly afraid of being wrong and looking stupid. Uhm...well, my best guess is that it's either Cutter or Jack. *nods, retreats into hiding*

Thanks for the comment. Like I told western_skies, I'm horrible at these things, too. But some people are really good at them....

Okay how I find the right solution.

1. I read your lines.
2. I put your sentences in my onlin-translation.
3. I try to understand what these half perfect programm wants me to say.
4. I have an AHA-moment.
5. I say it is Ron Carver, but I think you mean someone else.

Sie verstanden die Frage. Sie sind Recht, daß die Antwort unterschiedlich ist.

(Online translation program, so I hope that made sense. I speak a little French, but not German.)

Thank you for your review.

I love these online helper, but you have to understand the second language very well in order to know what it wants to tell you. Sometimes it do so big mistakes, you can only laught about it.

Your German senteces right: Du hast die Frage richtig verstanden. Es ist richtig, dass es unterschiedliche Antworten gibt.

Do you see the difference? So it is always a bit difficult with these helpers, but it goes faster as my dictionary.

::shrug:: I wanted to give you an answer without giving it away ... and yes, I know online translation programs aren't particularly good at translating correctly. I can catch it with French and sometimes Spanish.

Lovely. Hmmmm... an honest guest might be Cutter. Who says "Find him guilty. Thank you." Ooo, maybe Ben Stone? Give us a hint... please please please.

I have now given you a hint--revisit the story. It isn't much of one. ; )

Glad you liked it!

Yipee!
I watched religiously back then.
I loved Ben Stone and Paul Robinette as "the law". But mainly, back then I was addicted to watching the incredible hotness of Chris Noth as Mike Logan (actually, I still am).
