This! I've always wondered why some people think the absence of girls means John is not interested in them. I like your explanation! Rodney thinks that ex-girlfriends = talking about feelings = definitely a nightmare for John? :)

Extrapolating from the episode with Chaya, I can kind of see young!John as the kind of guy with a girlfriend wherever he's stationed. So one of his nightmares could well be himself and the lot of them locked in a small room together. *g*
