Loved this too! You do a good mean spirited Jeannie! *g* I loved how you used the same lines in places and varied them as well. Nicely balanced in that way, when read as a pair and with the hurt being focused on the other in each.

One tiny thing ... it's not really wrong but I'd probably pull there from a suitcase big enough to stuff a grown man in there and from both stories. It's a bit redundant.

I thought this was really tender one.

I wasn't exactly planning to do a 'mean-spirited' Jeannie, as you said. Someone told me that siblings are like that (like Rodney and Jeannie on the show), and I tried to imitate that. Badly, I guess. *g*

But then, I'm lucky enough to get along with my sister just fine. ;)

This series makes me very happy. It's like choose your own adventure... or something. John-pain there, Rodney-pain here, and love overcoming all? One hopes!

Ooh, you gave us Woobie Rodney is this version, and I love you for it! And, our John knows that no night with takeour and TV is complete without petting and groping.
Once again, I must tell you that I cannot decide which version I like better. So, you must try harder next time. LOL. I do love this story in all its alternative parts.
