Oh, wow. I mean really, oh wow. I almost don't know what to say except, wow. My heart is breaking for John, and Rodney too, and you've left this great sense of *something* looming in the offing for them. And all the quiet dignity on display makes me want to stand up and cheer (and hiss at Jeannie, whom I normally like). Can't decide which version I like better this time. Also can't wait for the next chapter(s)! :D

Oh, *wibbles* - poor John and Rodney, but esp. John! I'm so glad they've got each other and are a strong pair. They can face down the disapproval.

I loved this and John concertedly cleaning the house was an adorable touch!

I simply love John's innocence in this. All he really wants is to please Rodney, the poor smitten thing.
