So, as I just posted to freac_camp:

I've created ilu_whereupon as a support comm for all those who want to do something for whereupon. littlegirlvik initially asked for her Paypal account again, and I added that info to the entry I made last night, but I wanted to provide another way to show support.

Hi. The last thing I want to do is offend you, and the absolutely last thing I want to do is upset you. I know that it was horribly self-centered of me, when whereupon first deleted, to ask about her journal before I even asked about her well-being, and I apologize profusely for that.

Here's the thing. I would hate for her to lose her works by accident, so I'm venturing to mention, and I hope to heaven I'm not out of line... I think it was Nov. 2 or Nov. 1 when she deleted, and I just want to make sure you're aware that LJ makes deletions permanent after 30 days. Depending on how much access she's given you, you may want to undelete and temporarily privacy-lock everything, or some such action, so that at least her own access is preserved.

Again, I'm so so sorry if I shouldn't have brought it up. I wrestled with the decision, and I hope I haven't screwed it up.

I pray she will be well, that's what really matters.

Hey, it's okay. You didn't offend me.

In my experience, LJ doesn't actually purge things after 30 days. Even if they do, I have a number of back-ups of her work, so nothing will be lost except the comments. Thank you for your concern, though!

It does take them several extra days, but usually not weeks.

Anyway I'm relieved I wasn't out of line to check if you were aware and/or prepared; I've had reason to get paranoid lately about sticking my foot in my mouth, but I would hate for whereupon to face a huge disappointment on top of everything just b/c I'd been too cowardly to speak up. I'm glad you've got a handle on things.

I have found a couple SPN music videos I would like to rec to her, but I don't know if they would be something she would like or not.

Could you maybe take a peek and see what you think?

Oh! I think the fact that you found them and thought of her is good enough. :) I watched them, and they are poignantly painful as the heart of SPN is, and I think she'll like them or at least be touched that you thought of them for her. :) Safe to pass along, anyway. Please do post them in the comm!
