Voyeurism, of a sort

Apr 20, 2009 22:04

So I have been rather busy lately and still absent from LJ! Some things have been developing in my life recently, lots of stuff going on, etc. But this post is not about that! Sorry. Actually this post is not about my life at all, it is about someone else's life as seen through my eyes (which means it actually is about my life, sort of). I've ( Read more... )

Various points:

1) This is VERY well written. Brava!
2) I can totally relate/understand this voyeurism. I indulge in it too. I might have to try writing something like this soon.
3) I also find that the smallest things, like Emily's hippos, are usually what I remember most vividly/have shaped me most, where other people are concerned.
4) I can't believe you had a friend named Lane. I bet it was a girl. The only other Lane I know of is a girl. Still, that means she's probably awesome.
5) You absolutely must continue these chronicles.

Sincerely,
The Other Lane.

1. Thank you. I felt sort of weird about it because I read part out loud and it sounded like NPR. Which, I like NPR, but. WEIRD.
2. DO EET LANE. I want to read about your people!!!!
3. It's funny how that works, the things the mind chooses to remember and internalize.
4. Yes, the other Lane is in fact a girl. I want to say I've mentioned this to you before??? Lol, your name is awesome though, personally I think it's cool and gender-neutral.
5. I will be, thank you for asking. <3333

Seriously though. I know you are a good writer, you should write a "Profile in Life" or whatever, I really want to read it.

Well, that explains a lot about the reasoning behind the artwork known as "The Hippo". The Kat is still on my hand, by the way. I also love learning about your history, your 1776, as it were. Pink Ink was a nice choice, wasn't it. And your "Not pretty" got transferred to H, and he was like K did you write "Not Pretty" on me. I was like no. You had some very strict rules at lunch time. The only strict rules at my school was stairs and hallway rules, kinda like driving, right side of the hall is for going, left side for coming traffic. you could get detention for going the wrong direction. Overall, it was a VERY good read. I would be interested in reading more like that. And I wish I could write like you. Well, gotta go and talk with some friends and maybe get some sleep. Peace. Your Girl, K
