I think I have found something that makes
Tidaholm
to stand out from the most of other small Swedish towns: the amount of bridges.

Красота. С порогом и мельницей (это ведь мельница, я угадала?) мне больше всего понравилась.

Ага, мне тоже там понравилось. Лет двадцать назад даже и не подумала бы, что из бывшего индустриального района можно сделать такую конфетку.

And I love the idea that there are so many bridges, new ones popping up all the time, that they have shrugged and given up showing them on the map.

This must be the case definitely!
It can be quite fun just walk around an suddenly discover a lot of things that have never been marked on your map. And feel a bit like a Columbus or a Marco Polo or maybe a Livingstone looking for a new waterfall...
