So I finally finished my umpteenth reread of Deathly Hallows last night. I've been sort of lurking around fandom and seeing what other people's theories are and it's been interesting to see what's being said

I think that Snape choose to give those memories over, he knew that harry needed to face Voldemort, so he choose to give Harry everything. He had to make him understand. Hence the 'look at me' line.
