Why is the U.S. so afraid of nuclear war. I am forced to laugh at the people who justify our involvement in foreign countries due to the belief that we could be the target of nuclear war. It's preposterous. It is a bullshit excuse the executive branch of this country is feeding you to justify their unjustified actions! Get a clue ( Read more... )

The use of nuclear threat in the cold war, and terrorist nuclear arms in this day and age is an ongoing effect to keep the ignorant scared. How else would those who seek power gain it from an office? Consider the idea of freedom and security. Perversions occur, and the average person is tricked into backing things that cost people their lives. It's all smoke and mirrors, and we're losing our freedoms due to it.

The only reason I can see as to why we would be so frightend of Iran having Nuclear Weapons is that it would take away our invasion option. Just as it did with North Korea.

The only reason we are frightened of Iran having Nuclear Weapons is because the radical conservatives in office have told us to be afraid. Why we believe everything we are told, I will never know.

Personally, I cannot blame Iran for wanting them. If I were a country named Iran next to a country named Iraq that was recently include on the same list by the country that fucked Iraq I would want defense as well...

but then... we are not even sure if Iran is really going for weapons. Maybe they just realize that energy by oil is not a long lasting investment anymore.
