This week has been quite a bit busier than usual. I started my first week reporting for the local weekly for my hometown. I'm glad you're feeling up! Wish I were reporting again myself :-)

Oh, I still work for the same city school district, only in a different building on the other end of the city, in Adult Education. That's where people sign up for GEDs, as well as ESL classes. (As our city has a LOT of immigrants, and the bulk are either Spanish or Polish, they were pretty thrilled to get me for the Polish end...they haven't had anyone for that, but a couple of people speak Spanish...plus with my editing/desktop publishing skills, I can easily make them a Polish version of their brochure and stuff.) I've been there half days this whole week, and I start full time on Monday morning.

How cool. Congrats to you.

I've always wanted to be able to do translating in more than basic stuff but I've never achieved that type of fluency in another language (yet).

Those sound like great experiences! There's nothing like feeling productive and appreciated. =)

Very true. I knew I missed feeling *this* productive, but I hadn't remembered just *how* rewarding it could be.
