I'm glad you like this tale of a tail. (-: I do feel good about this place. The one drawback of being in a cat sanctuary, though, is that cats who have been at shelters, and thus have respiratory viruses, will keep coming in and spreading viruses around. There were a lot of runny eyes and sneezy cats on the premises, so I hope Brigit's immune system is ready for that. But she'll have shelter, wet food daily, and be much safer from human predation and cars, so it's worth the risk. (-:
as a mom, i know what it feels like, inside, to know that those you love deeply are safe. This must have been difficult for you, but now she is in such a good place. I'm so happy for both of you!
Thank you, bb! I'm wishing I heard more from T about how Brigit's doing, but I know T came down with the flu on Thursday, so I'm sitting on my hands for a few days to let her be and not call her. It can't be fun at all being sick with 33 cats, several dogs, and a couple of kids to take care of.

This is really a heartwarming story. I'm so glad you were able to get her settled in a place you feel good about.
