Icon Test

Testing to see if PNG or JPEG works better for my icons. Not sure if it will matter, but these were saved as JPEG first and then I changed them to PNG. When I have more time I'll try to save some as PNG first.

Ah. Once the artifacts are in there, you can't get them out again. Changing the LQ jpg to png will not help.

You can see the artifacts best in the first icon - the blurry pixelly things in the blue sky between the yellow letters. Those should not be there - the blue between the letters should be uniform.

(but as you can see, the size difference between the jpgs and pngs is only about 10K, so it's not worth using jpg to save space.)

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't do anything. I'll have to completely start over with these, but that's ok. I can use some of the new things I've learned too and make them extra awesome! :)
