There is some degree of racism in all movements and there are some racists in all walks in life. The hard part is not letting yourself become racist, hate filled, and bigoted as a response.

A jewish carpenter once said "Do unto others as you would have others do to you. If a man forces you to walk with him one mile, go with him two. If a man takes your coat from you, give him your shirt also.

That does not sound much like hate filled racist speech to me.

Now, if only they'd actually live up to Jesus's ideals instead of assuming the only black guy around must be Muslim, then continuing to harass him about Park51 even after he tells them he's not, and reminds them they don't know anything about his opinion on it.
