Lavender knew she had stayed at George's far too long. She knew it the moment he came barreling into the apartment with Cecilia Jacobs suction cupped to his face while she sat stuffing her face with peanut butter swirl ice cream. Mandy was excited when she heard from Lavender. She knew that their flat hunting was going to be delayed because of the attack and she very well understood. She had been very concerned for her friend but still thankful that she was alive. She didn't know how she would be able to make it without her.

So when Lav contacted her she immediately got ready to meet her. She had quickly changed into a sweater and jeans and went and got a coffee for herself. She was excited to finally be able to move out her small flat. She had just been renting a small studio flat. It was just something to have that was out of her mum's house but she should still save money with the inexpensive rent.

When she saw her friend she smiled and gave her a hung, "Hey dear. And it's no problem. Let's go check it out." She wasn't going to ask how she was doing because she was sure she didn't want to talk about it.

Mandy did get called out on business and she certainly had no plans to come home early and surprise her roommate. She was certainly smarter than that. She would always give her fair warning if she came home early. It was the decent thing to do.

She looked out at it and smiled, "It looks like a perfect place to create a little serene spot." She walked over and opened a door, "Wow, this is a nice bedroom size." Mandy was quite content letting Lav have the master.

Both rooms were about the same size with walk-in closets, though the master's bathroom was attached. Though, this one was just as private.

"This is an awesome space! The wall color isn't even so bad," she mused, noticing the warm neutrals that filled the space. It was definitely better than the usual plain white.

Mandy nodded. She was already planning her decoration scheme. these colors could for sure with her favorite color schemes. She walked into the middle of the room and did a slow spin, "Oh yeah. I'm totally loving it." She could already see herself living here, which probably wasn't a good thing.

She grabbed her friends hand and walked her to the other side of the apartment, "Let's see the other one." She opened teh door and the color was just as nice. She walked over to the bathroom, "Oh two sinks. Very nice."

Lavender was taking everything in very slowly, seeing all the potential of the space. After six years of bouncing around and a month as George's house guest she was ready to settle down. It would be nice to finally have something that was her's.

"Two sinks can be handy," she laughed, poking her head inside. Everything in here was also nicely updated. Dark cabinets that matched the kitchen with large slate tile, giving a very serene feeling over all.

"They seem to be about the same size, maybe a little wide to fit the extra sink."

Mandy was loving how much Lavender was taking this experience in. She knew it was a big deal for her friend, especially after what she just went through. She wanted to make sure that this was really was Lav was ready for and what she wanted.

She turned to her friend and squeezed her hand, "Do you like it? Tell me your thoughts!"

The truth was Lavender had really been pushing herself the last few days. It hadn't been easy finally returning to work or making peace with her brother. But too much time had passed to continue on living in fear.

"I think it's perfect," she said after a moment or two, a bright smile on her face. "What do you think?"

Mandy smiled as she studied her friend's face. She wanted to make sure that Lav really liked it and just didn't say she did. She would never want to force her into doing anything she didn't want to. That was just a horrible thing to do to anyone.

She nodded, "I love it. We will have so much space here and its in such a great location. You're brother found us a great one!"
