Confused

So I gave my written 2 week notice to my supervisor today. Then we went to a "meeting" with my boss and his boss. His boss told me that he didn't want me to quite, and that he wasn't accepting my resignation and handed me back my letter. He then proceeded to ask me to give him a week and let him come up with something to make me want to stay

Wow. They really want you to stay. Is it a good promotion?

Yeah actually it's not bad, and they've promised me they will work a 'fast track' with me to get me moved up even higher as they know I don't want to be in the position I am in, or even the promoted position for a long peroid of time
