The neighbors play folksy-banjo-mariachi music for 7 hours straight, seriously! I overheard that they have a "gig" monday night, so it will never end. I hope they do badly and are never invited back.

it's raining like woah and my 99 cent store umbrella didn't fair very well.

My aunt invited me to go to New York for a weekend in January, of course it has to be the weekend when I am leaving Guatemala to come home and I have hotwire tickets that will not allow me to, under penalty of death, to switch flights. this is the ultimate test for Laura... I forgot to bring my chapstick to work and I have been slowly dying of lip chappedness. If I can make it through the day without buying chapstick I will conquer it, but right now I think I'm going to use my lunch break to buy some :(
