Exactly. I said this about Jack, to which my brother and a couple of friends suggested he was just too nice for my liking. Which is partly true, yes, but it's not really that he's nice; it's more that he's bland. And that whole holier than thou shit he's got going on, which doesn't stop him allowing torture when it suits his purposes. I don't much like the Kate/Jack either. who knows? Maybe he'll grow on me.
