Hee! I'd be extremely disappointed if you didn't hold me to it.

And for what it's worth, there is some really, really lovely SamDean stuff in S6. It is a million miles away from the angst and hurt of seasons 4 and 5. I think it's maybe even possible they're closer now than they ever were.

I echo the other posters in being delighted to find someone else who sees Castiel as being just as big a dick as the other angels. I have never understood the fans who have just let his behavior skate by and who not only don't blame him, but actually defend all the jerk moves he pulled. My greatest dislike of Castiel was during season five when he was fairly constantly riding Sam for starting the Apocalypse and Dean for not being the big hero Cas wanted him to be, while never mentioning the fact that he had let Sam out of the panic room and had been complicit in trying to start the Apocalypse until the very last minute.

And yes, Bow before Zod, was pretty funny.

I KNOW, RIGHT! Whatever mistakes Sam and Dean made in season 4, they at least made them in the belief that they were stopping the apocalypse. And they paid and paid for those mistakes, you know? Cas knew what he was doing for at least part of the time, and not only did he let Sam out, but he waited until it was too late to actually start helping them. And this was bizarrely totally fine. Sam's entire S5 arc is about trying to make up for what he did wrong, and Cas never, ever gives him any clue that maybe he wasn't entirely responsible.

And if it had been just that, I might've let it go--I mean, it's unlikely that I'd have been cool with that, but maybe. Only there's a whole other list of shitty and/or cowardly things he's done, and for which there were never consequences, at least for him. No more! The God stuff is still awesomely hilarious, but it's also just awesome, because finally he's done something he has to take responsibility for.
