I'm glad you enjoyed this story. More on what happened is told in Ball and Chain, which I'm working on now. Powerful is correct, so powerful that Blair's choices are being influenced by what went on during this time of his life.

I'm glad you found the reason Blair stole the microscope believable. I always thought there was more to the story than Blair explained in the show.

I love the new details. Blair just tugs at my heart in that opening scene, alone and scared and rubbing his hands nervously on his jeans. And Boles makes my skin crawl on Blair's behalf.

You've built such a real and involved and moving world. Like I said, I'm not going to want you to stop even when you get through with the third arc. :-)

(And thanks for the answer to my question; I was fascinated, and I love you spelling it all out for me. And sheesh -- you could continue to add tons of stories based even on that chunk of time and thought. I'll answer that email better a little later on...)
