Eep! as Snycock said. And eep! Evil!William, which is something I'm always in two minds about, but so far your approach is human evil rather than cardboard cut-out Dick Dastardly, so I'm gonna go with the flow.... :-)
They say that learning to delay gratification is character building.
Massive is right. Including the time stamps, AO3 tells me that the series is at 163,065 words. I am wrapping Comes a Time up, but there's probably 40 to 70 thousand more words to add to that number.

Thanks for saving the story to read later. I wished I didn't have to split it, but LJ was fussy about the length.
Mean to leave us with such a cliffhanger! And I have to say I didn't see that coming until the apple turnovers came out. I will eagerly await the next chapter :)

I'm looking forward, though, to one massive read of the whole thing once it's finished!

The stories I've posted there I put links to on the LJ post, but I'll probably keep posting them on LJ, also.

I'm glad to hear the twist was twisty. I'm not saying if it was the apple turnovers, though.
I worked some more on the next chapter today and I've sent it to my sweet beta.
Thanks for reading and commenting. I've never been so delighted to be called mean before.

*jumps over cliff in case the rest is on the way down*
I was so happy to see this, and now I'm banging my head on the desk. Figuratively, of course. *g*
*sighs*
Thank you for another wonderful chapter, a twist I didn't see coming, and hope that the end is near! *g*

I'm glad the plot snuck up on you, and don't hurt your poor 'splodey head.
Uh... the end isn't near. ::runs away::
