A tidy use of Blair's 'Limbo' - how else to fill in his time except with reminiscence? And the overall tenor of Blair's life after the diss disaster is unhappily likely. I look forward to more. (And does Nathan and the Volvo have anything to do with the enquiry into Edwards' death, or is it just a red herring? You don't have to answer that...*g*)

There's not much to do in a jail set up like this one, and Blair's too wiped out to come up with much in the way of distracting himself from thinking about stuff he'd rather just repress.
I always love trying to guess what's going to happen with these WIP, it's part of the reason I started doing LJ myself, So , guess away, but after I post the double drabble, which is a missing scene/prequel to this story, the upcoming next two parts should give some more clues.
And I will finish it, I promise.

It's really late and I should be asleep but I had to read both parts through - it has me absolutely rivetted; this is just my kind of story.

I'm too tired to say anything too coherent, but - loved it! And I can't wait for the next installment. Thanks! (o:

I'm so pleased I could keep you up as I've been in the same position reading your stories.[and I mean that in a good, very good way] Thank you for the kind words and I'll be posting a double drabble that's a prequel for this story for the 200 challenge, but I should have another longer section done in a week or so.
Thanks for commenting,

Yay! Prequels and more story!

Tbh, I'm still battling to catch up; it seems everyone's been writing in my downtime. Not that that's bad or anything. (o;

I love this story and really can't wait for more. Thanks for sharing!

I was SO damn excited when I saw this. God, you're hurting the boys so beautifully, and Blair is just so damn resigned, and I'm all ready to be pissed at Jim (but waiting to see if he can redeem himself). I'm just wiggling waiting for the next part!!

Blair's kind of worn out, emotionally and physically right now. His support system kind of melted away and he hasn't been able to stay anywhere long enough to rebuild a different one.
Blair's biggest desire right now, besides being far away again to avoid dealing with his issues with Jim, is to try and build a life for himself. He wants to cling to normalcy as much as he can, he's really not like Naomi when it comes to traveling, he likes a home base. And Jim's side of the story will be coming soon, but probably not in the next big part.
I'm glad you are liking the story so far,
Laurie

Cruel, cruel woman! You have me all jacked up, sweating blood and in a swivet about the confrontation and you go for the backstory! Cruelty to readers! Cruel, cruel woman.

*eyes half eaten jail lasagne casserole from the microwave*

I am going to have to get a tin cup to rattle on my prison bars and organize the Saturday night drunks in the tank to protest until we get Part Three!

((hugs))

More please? And SOON!!!

::gets fire hose out to subdue rowdy jail-birds::

Yes, backstory. Blair's stuck for a few days and so are the rest of us, he's got nothing much to do except think.
Funny you should mention Saturday night drunks...
I have part of the next section done and plan on having it posted in a week or so. I just put up a double drabble for this week's challenge in this story line but alas, it's an outsiders POV.
