And "Yay!" for readers like you, who've stuck with the story as it's unfolded in its own time. Thanks so much for that and for your lovely comment.

Love how Jim wants to feed Blair up even while he's dreaming. :-) And that perfect moment when Simon and Megan walk into Simon's office, with Jim and Blair on the couch. And Blair defending Jim's ghost-sensing abilities to Jim (yay :-)), and all the details that make this story (this chapter, and all the arcs as a whole) so strong and clear and real. (And the guys have both come such a... okay, a fair distance together :-). I guess they needed that year of distance to be able to see how far apart they really were and get to the point where they could start learning to really be together on a solid foundation.)

*beams at this chapter and at you with much happiness*

::basks in your beaming:: er, in other words, your comment makes me very happy. ::rolls eyes::, good thing you caught my goof about the ghost seeing abilities. I kind of love how much Jim is in tune with weird stuff, and how much he tries to not admit it to himself.

Whether they're sitting apart on the couch or across the country, they've got to talk things out and agree how they want to handle stuff in order for this relationship to really work. They've made a good start, but life has a way of throwing curve balls, and we'll see how they do when they're under stress.

Thanks so much for all the hard work you've put into this epic. If it comes across as strong and clear and real, you're also responsible.

you're welcome!! (even though I feel kinda weird about you thanking me, 'cause hey, you let me be incomprehensible and babbly and paranoid and forty-seven other different kinds of obsessively weird and not-knowing-what-I'm-talking-about and slow while I get to think about *fic* and *writing* -- seriously, that's just about the best thing ever)

::squishes you, and beams at your basking:: :-)

Heh. One wonders if spirit guides, or just the sub-conscious in general, were behind getting outed in the office. :-)

Well, it's something they're trying to work out, what feels right to both of them about being out to their friends and family and total strangers for that matter. Maybe the spirit guides were lurking in the background.

So happy to see another chapter! I love the blue dream and that Blair is always naked in them! I love them in the pool together and that Jim has to hold Blair up to keep his head out of the water, at least until they moved to the other side of the pool. Hee, what a way to out them to Simon! Just perfect! This is just so good, Laurie!

Blair being naked in the blue jungle is CANON, so who am I to mess with that? I love writing the spirit world scenes.

Jim and Blair being outed to Simon like that was like pulling a bandaid off quickly -- all done, and now they don't have to wibble about doing it.

I'm glad you liked this chapter.

Don't work too hard.
