I wrote my love for him on his body with my hands and mouth.

::shivers:: What a beautiful image.

I love how this story is unfolding, with their relationship deepening and growing. Such a lovely sense of peace and healing. Fab stuff, Laurie :-)

I was doing fine until Blair told us about Jake. Want the guy to be in hell right now. It got to be too much like my past so I had to skip some of it.

But beyond that it was a brilliant piece of work, Hun. Thank you for sharing.

Sending you gentle hugs and Blair's fist bump of solidarity. It's not an easy thing to read, or write.

Jim would join you in your wishes about Jake.

Thanks for reading the rest, and for your kind words.

What a wonderful conclusion to this arc! I almost burned my supper because I couldn't stop reading, lol! Seriously, this was just a fantastic chapter, and I can't wait for the final arc. The writing is so down to earth and real, that's my favorite! And yet, there's a poetry there, too, and I love the combination.

Almost burning your supper because you couldn't stop reading has to be about the best compliment, ever.

I'm glad it was 'almost,' though. I really liked hearing that you think the story has both a realistic and poetical feel to it.

Oh, this is so lovely! *melts* I'm so glad that they finally got to this place after so much angst and distrust. I'm really looking forward to the third arc!

It's been an intense trip for them and me, as a writer. I'm glad that you've stuck with us and that this arc's conclusion worked for you.

so much love for this

They've come such a long way -- it makes me proud of both of them; it was a hard journey to get here, but they both earned this wonderful, happy ending. (I'm selfishly glad there's another arc, though. :-))

And I so agree with what Ruefull said above -- your writing is so wonderfully down to earth, matter of fact, and with a poetry in it too sometimes, and I love so much that it's both the story and the writing itself giving me so much happiness.

("your rock"? heh, a person who moves at the speed of a rock embedded in concrete, maybe -- but one whose heart is warmed by your words, and who smooshes you muchly)

::smooshes you back::

What a long, strange trip it's been, too.

They're aligning now, everything that has been keeping them from having a rock solid lock on their relationship, the secrets, the miscommunications, the long standing fears and trauma-damage, are being addressed.

Thank you for your feedback on my writing style (I guess if more than one person sees the same thing in your writing, then you have a style? Circle yes or no and pass the note back to me when the teacher isn't looking).

I see Comes a Time as partly testing what they've learned about each other, now that they'll be out of the bubble they've been in during this road trip and back in Cascade, with the PD and friends and family.

Thanks for reading (again) and commenting.
