I just don't get why you're watching it when you don't seem to like it.

Wow, that was fast. It's like a train wreck for me, I guess. The theme hits close to home. It's Worst Case Scenario-watching.

It sounds like it's about the kind of people I've done my best to avoid becoming in my life.

Yeah, we'd be in trouble if you were secretly turned on by nuns.

I haven't watched past episode 2. XD; But the hikkikomori thing seems like a well known issue in Japan. The author of the Welcome to the NHK novels is (still) a hikkikomori himself. :S

Oh, and Satou is obviously on drugs. They cut that out in the anime.

I avoided using the word hikkikomori because I can't spell it in a hurry. *sheepish grin* I'm waiting for some character development. I hope it picks up a bit, because it will be really depressing if it doesn't!

Satou, on drugs? Man, I wonder what designer cocktails he uses in the book. Those really are some funky dream sequences.

You're welcome, sweetie! *hugs* Screen capping is still fun, and it gives me a reason to put something on my blog while I'm dried out of fanfic. *the well of inspiration is dry, dry!*

Yeah I agree the hikkikomori [yay for cut-and-paste!] issue is global. It's really not just tied to anime and manga but more of tech culture. Lots of people nowadays are always on the IPods, watching videos or playing games on their portable gadgets even in public, it's become easier to ignore things... especially other humans!

Oh, I got to look over your link.I used to lurk at that memento blog for the comments on honey and clover! :D

P.S. I just reread the chapters with Coolhorn in 'em because I forgot where I left off two months ago. I'm up to the current one now. Yeah, Coolhorn made the mini-arc interesting.

On Bleach... Waah Koma-koma gets good coverage! And he gets his chapter cover like everyone else! (I recognized it from All the Color but the Black.) Yay, Koma-Koma lurve.
