You have yet another reason to use the icon :D

*points to self* That chart would be very handy indeed.

I've only seen The Birds (it was in English class - I think we read the short story so we decided to see them film also), but I really want to see Psycho.

I love the "grand waltz" theme that appears through the whole movie. I love this composer! All of the soundtracks are really good, just from what you hear in the movies.

Yeah, it's gone down from $30 to $24 in a couple of months. Patience is a virture, I have to remind myself...

That's pretty funny, since I saw Encore today for $13 and was thinking "If the tour DVD came out right now and was selling for $30, I'd buy it!"

Soundtracks can really make the movie. I remember thinking that if the Da Vinci Code had had a better soundtrack then I would have liked the movie a lot more. That soundtrack was terrible, IMO.

Oh, there would be no question of me buying it for $30! I'd scrimp everywhere else just to splurge on the DVD. I want it to come out before I leave because I don't want to buy it in Europe. Then it'll be Region 2 (or 1? whichever) and then I won't be able to watch it on my player here! Bah!

Ooh, never did get to watch that movie. I really wanted to see everybody except Tom Hanks; I just didn't think he fit the character. (Yay for Audrey Tatou, Ian McKellen, Jean Reno, and Paul Bettany!) How was the movie? I didn't really like the book that much because the writing was "eh"; I was like "Noooo, don't succumb to the fad!" when Urs said he had bought a copy in that Entrevista interview.

Yes, I'd skip lunch for weeks if I could save up to buy it! They don't know what they're doing to us fangirls by delaying the release date, dangit!

I didn't really enjoy the movie, I loved all the actors in it (Jean Reno!) but not the movie itself. I really enjoyed the book and how it kept me hangning forever, but I agree, some of the writing wasn't really top notch, IMO.

I loved that interview when Urs commented about not liking that other perspective of the Motorcycle Diaries and saying that he found it badly written. He's amazing! I can read a French book and not really like it, but I never feel that I have enough of a grasp of the language to say whether it's well written or not. But he's just fluent in every language he learns, I want to be him! Linguistically, of course. O_o

Do you know when it's supposed to be released? *paces*

(Jean Reno! I loved Wasabi! :D)

Yeah, the book was good plot-wise, but Dan Brown's not exactly the best writer of our time. And I remember yelling at Langdon and Sophie for not solving one of the puzzles immediately because it was that obvious. I think it was the one where everything was just backwards, and I was just going "Duh!"

Urs has got the command of, what, 5 languages? He IS amazing, in so many many ways!

Argh, if only! I need a release date NOW~~~

If it comes out after you've gone, you should make your parents send it to you. Or I will! :D

He's kind of like J.K. Rowling. The plot and the ideas are great, but their own writing isn't fabulous. (Sirius' death? WTF?)

Yes! I got the backwards writing and I had no idea how he could be going through so many other languages without seeing the obvious.

Yeah, 5. I wouldn't be surprised if he's picked up Spanish by now. And Italian. There's a clip of all of them speaking Spanish, I think. Or Urs and Carlos each do a spiel. I can't remember, my Spanish vids are on the desktop.

:D I'm going to find something really cool and French or Swiss!! to send you! Maybe lightning will strike and I'll find "Libre"!

Exactly! You just wish they'd sold their ideas to a better writer or something. But IMO, at least Rowling knows how to pull of humor. Dan Brown's humor doesn't work. D: (Sirius! ;o; )

Yeah, wasn't Carlos teaching them Spanish? And I'm pretty sure Carlos knew Italian, so it'd just pass along to the other guys.

Hee! Then I'll be in charge of sending you the DVD!

ICON!! *ogles*

You're right. And at least there's fanfic to run to when you can't handle JKR anymore.

I'm sure he'd be teaching it to them, especially with them singing that language so much. There's a video somewhere of Carlos speaking to a tv host in Italian.

I'm hoping to send regular postcards. So if you want, keep an eye on your mailbox!

I was just going to make ONE crack icon. But nooooo, I found 40 other bases for OTPs! D: D: D:

And I'm still searching for a good pic, argh!

Fanfic! Sometimes it's so well-written you wish it was official.

Yeah, I remember reading a fan's report about her speaking to her mother in Italain, and Carlos looked over and started speaking to them, it startled her so much!

Yay for postcards! I've never actually received a postcard from someone through mail, everyone just gives me them when they get back. Which makes me wonder, aren't you just destroying the purpose of the postcard? O_O

Hehe, they're in on it! They know what you're doing and encouraging it!

I'd be pretty startled too! Wow, can you imagine... I'd be in a fabulous mood for years after.

That does kind of wreck the idea of a postcard. It's exciting to get mail! I love opening our mailbox and finding something for me between my parent's usual stuff.

Ooh, totally! It's like if my mom was speaking Japanese to me (not that I'd understand most of it) and David turned around and said something. :D Eeee!

I found lots of funny face pics I didn't know I had, so maybe I can just stick the "yay for crack" on one of them. (But most of the funnies aren't David/Urs, drat.)

Yeah, hence the name postcard. I love exchanging letters with people! Lately all the mail that's been for me has been college-related.

O_O That would be so awesome!

There's one somewhere! There's always an appropriate photo! I have 1700+ and I haven't gone photo trolling in a while. And most are on the desktop. *kicks still-screwy computer*

College mail's exciting too, though! I remember getting my Guelph acceptance package. It was raining out, Dad picked me up from the bus stop and drove to the mailbox. Then he told me to get out and get the mail so he wouldn't get wet. I opened it and there is was! I was jumping and squeeing and carrying on. Brilliant.

Narrowed down your choices? But you still have a few months left to decide depending on your due dates for applications.

Go hee! :D

Yes it would! I love his Tokyo shirt! David has awesome T-shirts.

I know, I keep thinking I missed something, but I scrolled through all the photos in my folder individually! D:

Haha, right now it's still mostly "Consider us!" mail, most of which is from colleges that I'm not considering. Hm.

I've got it down to under 15 colleges, haha. I'm paranoid, so I'll probably apply to several "safety" schools.

I went and Hee'd! :D :D :D

I haven't seen the Tokyo shirt! I have his Montreal Canadiens shirt, which I love, and the More Cowbell, but I don't remember Tokyo.

Ah, don't be paranoid! It's good to have a couple of safety schools. (2 of my 3 schools were safety. I really wanted to go to Guelph.) I'm sure you'll get into the one you really want (or are leaning the most towards.)
