If you want to hear ridiculous stories about me emulating a pack mule for probably not particularly good reasons, ask some other time. This here is about my plans for this semester

Oh yay! These sound great. :-) Can I be your gym buddy some days? I might make you wake up earlier than 8am though. ;)
I was also just thinking about the eating out thing too! The thing is, when you're hanging out with people one-on-one, the easy thing is "let's go out for dinner!" But that's not so good for budgetting. So I was thinking of starting to try to do "let's hang out and make dinner!" more instead.
It would be great to have you as a gym buddy some days... but how early are we talking? :) I'm on one of the student plans where I can't show up at the gym before 8; don't know about you.
Also, do you have a permanent locker there? I'm looking for someone to split the locker fee with in exchange for letting me store some stuff there -- I at least want to leave my shoes at the gym, if nothing else. But I'm not willing to pay $10.
We should hang out and make dinner sometime soon. That sounds awesome. :) My mom made this butternut squash lasagna when I was home that was fabulous, that I'd like to recreate... does that appeal to you?
Oh, I'm on the same plan. I just meant getting there at 8am. :) (They let you get in as long as it's after 7:45am though, so it could be as early as 7:45am.)
I don't have a permanent locker there. I actually pay for towel service instead, because I found that my towel gets stinky if I put it in the locker. :) I'm not sure what I would use a locker for - otherwise I would do it. :) On the days I'm lifting weights instead of running you're welcome to my extra towel.
Oh, this weekend I'm going to go to the 4:30pm sunday vinyasa yoga class if you want to join me. :) It tends to be crowded, so getting there early is good. I really like the instructor.
Butternut squash lasagna sounds like my idea of heaven. :) squee! (i love the butternut squash ravioli that dave's fresh pasta has.)
When I was a member before, I would leave my gym clothes at the gym all week and wash them at the end of the week. Since I already tote a fairly hefty amount of stuff to work some days, I kind of don't want to also tote my gym stuff -- at least not the shoes, which are the bulkiest part. I don't really want to tote a towel, either, but since I'm feeling cheap I was thinking about just using a couple of their crappy white towels each time. :) If you want to offer me yours on some days, I'd be much obliged! (Do you not shower after weights?)
I might be up for Sunday yoga, but we'll have to see how I feel the day after Saturday swords. :) It's supposed to leave you very achy.
Good luck. I think the checking in with yourself at the beginning of every semester is a really good thing.
I have come to the conclusion that I just need external structure and at this point simply cannot make myself function without it. This makes me very sad, obviously, but having accepted it I can just move on to trying to make sure that I always have external scheduling. I have morning classes three days a week this semester which helps. Having a yoga class to make it to at a specific time is also very helpful. And so on.
Taking days off work is the best. :)
I want the recipe for butternut squash lasagna too!
