Right, because up here we still pay for things in beaver pelts.

It's extremely hard to slide those pelts into vending machines! And when you just want a chocolate bar and all you have is a beaver pelt, it's very annoying to deal with the 28 rabbit pelts the machines give you in change. Maybe we should switch to coins.

And I imagine that carrying around moose skins for those really big purchases must be a real drag.
