Did we play any of Moving Pictures? All I remember is failing "YYZ". Or... wait, did we also do "Red Barchetta"?
I think IMing someone is one message, and IMing with them is a conversation. Compare:
"I IMed with her today and it was great!" (You two are so cute.) "I IMed her today and it was great!" (Just how much do you enjoy pressing Enter?)
From my brief use of Skype it seemed not too different from the phone, so I think I would just say "called", because why does it matter? But if I had to, I would say "Skype with". I think. Hard to know until one actually uses the word a lot.
I'm actually not sure we finished "YYZ" or "Red Barchetta", but we played both.
I think I agree with your IM assessment. Skyping is different from calling in my mind, at least, because I've done it with video chat. It doesn't feel the same.
You slept in the jacuzzi? Please elaborate as to water level and amount of outdoorness.
(Clearly this was the most important detail in your entire post which I should fixate on. Also, possibly I say, "talked to her on Skype", but I'll have to attempt to observe my speech.)
I was wondering if anyone would ask about that. :) It was an indoor jacuzzi, and empty -- it was in a door that separated it from a bathroom suite, which was separated by another door from all the noisy people. So that was why I chose it. I actually mostly slept on the floor next to the jacuzzi, but at some point I became afraid I would fall in while asleep (it was reasonably deep), and so I moved into it.

I haven’t ever, but if I did, I would “call someone on Skype,” I think.
