texts and phone; Edmonton report

I thought that texts were going to cost me money while in Canada, but after further research, they appear to be free throughout North America. However, it costs me 69 cents/min to talk on my cell phone while here, which is ridiculous. A friend of mine and I text back and forth from NZ. I love free international texting. :) (But I doubt I'd be able to text for free from NZ with my current phone, so yay that you can.)

See if you can convince your Aunt and Uncle to take you to the Strathcona Farmer's market tomorrow morning bright and early (it's best to get there by about 8:30).

Graze your way through. Don't miss the folks with the dips and flat breads (try the red lentil hummus!), the ukrainian food beside the soup guy (baked perogies), the lady who makes chocolates with real fruit inside, and the girl with the stuffed olives. Do not leave without Cinnamon Girl's dill/cottage cheese buns. Trust me on this.

Yeah, the sky is the thing I miss most about the prairies. You just can't see as much coming at you out here.
