A quick rundown before I get to my most recent thoughts...
Saturday: bought a car! It's a 2007 Black Ford Escape. It's beautiful and my baby. I just have to figure out some financing woes.
Sunday: enjoyed said car until hockey knee injury.

Congrats on the new car! How cool.
I'm sorry to hear about your knee injury. Will it keep you off the ice for long? I have a bum right knee from a hockey injury awhile ago--I always know when the weather is going to change. ;)

As for the knee, it's better. I played the 2nd and 3rd periods (because I just couldn't sit there...) I'll see how it feels on Sunday. If it's still bugging me, I'll just jump up to winger instead of defense. I hate being injured. Bleh.

I saw an interview with all four Donnellys actors the day the show premiered and I thought Tommy was hot then, but oh my god I had no idea until he stripped his shirt off last week and I about fell off the sofa. WOW.
Funny that you're writing Donnellys fic, btw, as I am apparently writing a Donnellys-esque book. I started writing it after seeing The Departed for the 8 millionth time (hello, Leo's abs! and shoulders, and arms), and now Tommy & Co. are keeping my inspiration going. As well as a bunch of books about Southie and Charlestown and the corrupt history of the Boston Irish. I am so running away to Southie.
I need a Hot!Tommy icon. . .oh, well. Leo will have to do.

If I end up in Boston (fingers crossed) we have to take a side trip to Southie Land. I think you might have to knock me out to take me home. Southie boys.... Yay!
I think BD fic suits my writing style because I like writing shorter, clipped sentences. I really struggle with longer flowing paragraphs.

And yes, we will definitely have to spend an afternoon in Southie. We can sit in the Purple Shamrock and watch the Sox play -- that always brings out the boys. We might have to depend on someone else to get us to leave, though, because my willpower drains away when confronted with certain types of men. Who live in certain neighborhoods.
