always get me down...

Anyway.

It's been a hell of a week and it's only Tuesday.  (Fuck, it's only Tuesday.  I weep, people.)  In school, it's parent-teacher conference week and it's just been a hellish nightmare so far.  My school decided a few months ago that instead of the regular parent-teacher conference, that we would start doing student-led ( Read more... )

Lauren, honestly... since you're enjoying the show, my advice to you is to skip Haggis' previous efforts, lest you're tainted by the sledgehammer and get whacked by the heavy hand (no pun intended). As it is, I'm doomed to enjoy it despite his influence, but it's always hovering there, like the 800-pound gorilla in the room. Bleh.

And Linderman! Yay! I'm giddy already.

Oh good, my lack of movie watching comes in handy! I don't know why I wasn't moved to watch either flick, but I'm happy that I'm not tainted by his 800 pound gorillas ;D

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that enjoyed the Black Donnellys last night. I've always been a sucker for an unreliable narrator and throw in the perfect use of a Snow Patrol song and I was sold. The scene with Tommy and Kevin in the elevator? Yeah. That's where I bought in.

Glad to know I'll have someone to discuss it with. ;)

Heh, Jimmy Ice Cream. I liked it, especially the bit about "It was 1999."

"You were in juvie in 1999"

"It was 2001..."

Hee!

I think I fell in love when Kevin told Tommy that he was going wherever Tommy was going. Sigh.

Are you sure Jason doesn't just love the potential for lots of hockey-level violence in this The Black Donnelys? ;-)

I'm cursing the school system that has caused you to develop a TWITCH! Dear LORD! Tell these people they're on my cancer list now.

Luckily, it's starting to lessen. I couldn't believe it either, my eye was twitching. It was starting to get embarassing. Ugh.
