Fanfuckingtastic! If they are hiring this late in the year, that means most other credentialed teachers are snatched up! I'd say your chances are excellent.

Although, the fact that they *are* hiring this at this very late date may speak to some breakdown in management or lax governing...so, while it is wonderful news you may finally get to fulfill your dream, be careful not allow yourself be dragged down by managerial failures...whatever, good luck, bitch!
