I love crack pairings because they force you to explore the characters more deeply.
Some people treat them as lol, wouldn't it be funny if X kissed Y but I'm more interested in why/how X and Y would get together and how they would work once they did.
Yeah, I wanted to convey the tragedy of their fates and that line just sort of sprung fully-formed from my mind.
