Our company has just gone into liquidation and I've been made redundant.
I absolutely don't know what to do!  Where are the good jobs?

Haha, no. They haven't even got the money to pay us for the work we've done this month, so we have to claim it off the government. We should get our pay some time mid-November. Owch.

When I leave?! We were given the forms to claim with and told to clear our desks straight away! You will be glad to know that I made off with a mighty stack of envelopes to put job applications in, a pile of headed letter-paper to write references on, all the company's bin bags (they're expensive, you know), a plate that I really like and all the coffee and tea. I wanted to make off with the unopened 19litre water cooler bottle, but it was really heavy. Everything else in that place is shit and not worth having.

The good jobs are all in London...or there is always Siemens :P

Alas, no payout. Tried doing the job thing today, but my brain's all fuzzy. I'm going all out tomorrow on it, even going to hit the arsefaced job centre. They'd better give me something this time!

We've just learned we're being made redundant in March due to relocation. Hoping for a large wedge to keep us there till then though :)
