Ok, I can do that--I think. Just don't expect something as good as your Regulus/tree, because that was a fine moment in LJ history, indeed.
Speaking of Regulus...
Your prompt: Regulus and the word "ouchie"

behold. teh five-year-old Reg.
okay:
“Sirius! Lookit!”
An ouchie, hmm?
“See, I climbed the tree out back--on'y, it had teeth. Kiss it better!”

I present to you Tom and Tree!Envy. And you get two (the second is like a sequal that takes place several years later) because you've written me two Regulus/tree stories now.
Tom & tree, part 1:
Eight-year-old Tom bleached the giant tree's roots.
It took a month to look dead.
He decided to find faster methods.
------------------------------------
Tom & tree, part 2:
His tree was still there.
Lasting (unlike Tom), out-living those who'd climbed (then died helpless fools).
Tom killed it again.

I think young Tom probably just enjoyed destruction. And as an adult, even though wizards can live longer than Muggles, I think that Voldie would feel very mocked that something as simple as certain types of trees can just stand in one spot and live thousands of years--I wanted to show him feeling almost taunted by the tree when he went back and realized it hadn't died after all.
OMG, Regulus/tree!love is the fic of legend! I can't believe it will actually Offically Exist after this weekend! *huge wide eyes*
