A jittery day, full of bad world news and small local crises, at the end of which I needed something mellow -- and maybe you do too.
And so I share a video. It's the song "Figure Eight" from (of all places) Schoolhouse Rock, the wonderful series of animated educational bits from the 70s. It's sung by one of my favorite artists, Miss Blossom Dearie.
